Project Overview – Masona Plastics, Whitesmith, East Sussex

At Masona Plastics in Whitesmith, East Sussex, we designed, supplied, and installed a complete 82.8kWp solar PV system to support the company’s move toward renewable energy. The system features 240 JA Solar 345W photovoltaic modules, along with a Solis three-phase string inverter that comes with a 10-year warranty. A Schletter trapezoidal roof mounting frame was used to securely install the panels on the roof structure.

The project included full mechanical and electrical integration of the PV array, as well as the supply and installation of the inverter and all associated DC ancillaries. We installed DC cabling between the array and the inverter, based on a 10-metre run, and fitted AC/DC lockable isolation switchgear to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Following installation, the system was thoroughly tested and commissioned, with a full handover and documentation provided to the client.

This installation supports Masona Plastics’ sustainability goals while reducing long-term energy costs through clean, efficient solar power.
