Matt & Tamsin organisers of http://www.sanchopanza.org/ recently bought a farmhouse in Wales and wanted their new house to be eco friendly. They approached Ecosphere as they wanted advice on getting the most out of the panels.

Our Solution:
We decided to go for a ground mounted system so it could face due South to get the most benefit from the Feed In Tariff. Matt designed and built his own frame (being a party organiser he is used to building stages) using scaffolding poles and elbow grease.. the end result.. one very efficient ground mounted system, perfect for people that don’t want panels on the roof and have a small area of land free.

Big thankyou to Zoe and Pete at EcosphereDespite the chaos that followed the government pulling the FIT deadline forward by 3½ months, we managed to get our gound-mounted solar PV system installed and commissioned within 2 days of the deadline, thanks in great part to Ecosphere going the extra mile for us.Thanks to Zoe and Rob we got a fantastic Sunpower system delivered to us, all the way over in West Wales, and thanks to Pete who travelled all the way to us to commission the system, we were up and running just in time to register for the higher rate tariff.This was when every other company we had spoken to had said no way, or tried to charge unreasonably because of all the demand.They coped really well with the stress of the impending deadline looming ever closer and gave us a fantastic helpful service, keeping us updated and keeping up pressure on the companies involved to make sure we received delivery of the goods in time.We would recommend these guys to everyone-Now we’re enjoying watching those units clock up!
