Air Quality and Health

Indoor air quality has a major influence on an individual’s health, comfort and wellbeing. The average person spends 90% of their time indoors and 70% of this time is spent in their own home. Therefore it is crucial to have good ventilation such as a heat recovery or air conditioning system in your home.

In addition to a build up of moisture, a large concoction of other pollutants and contaminants is present within the air in our homes and at work. The effects of this poor air quality can lead to a number of ailments including fatigue, respiratory illness such as Asthma and headaches.

We recommend installing a heat recovery system which works by work by extracting stale air out of rooms and at the same time drawing in fresh air from outside, whilst maintaining a comfortable room temperature.
