Heat Recovery Units
Heat Recovery units improve air quality, are energy efficient and give the consumer control over temperature and fan speed.
Heat recovery units work by continuously extracting stale air out of rooms and at the same time drawing in fresh air from outside. They are connected to each room via a network of ducting and are typically sited in loft spaces, so there’s very little noise.
A heat exchanger inside the unit, recovers up to 95% of the heat from the extracted air which then heats the filtered supply without mixing the air supplies.
The heat exchanger filters out unwanted pollens and other allegens, so it’s ideal for allergy sufferers and people with asthma.
The Heat recovery unit has a booster function which can be used when more ventilation is required, for example when cooking or bathing and in the summertime a by-pass function allows you to maintain comfortable room temperature.
